The American Musicological Society Southwest Chapter Conference Proceedings is the online publication of selected papers and poster abstracts presented at our fall and spring meetings. In the spirit of community, the AMS-SW Chapter seeks to make its research activity readily available, offering its presenters, members, and interested parties a forum for the exchange of new findings and musicological inquiry. In concert with the Chapter’s mission, this open-access publication is a demonstration of our commitment to the advancement of research in the various fields of music as a branch of learning, scholarship and teaching.
